Young Female Researchers from the field of Islamic Economics and Finance who are pursuing their postgraduate and doctoral degrees in different universities of Turkey were hosted for a breakfast at Research Center of Islamic Economics (IKAM) on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018.
The breakfast was followed by a meeting chaired by IKAM's president, Dr. Lutfi Sunar who briefed the guests about their critical role in development of Islamic Economics as a discipline. The researchers were briefed about IKAM's aim, objectives and activities. Different issues and challenges faced by Islamic Economics along with their proposed solutions were discussed. The meeting ended in a good environment and all the participants were presented with copies of TUJISE journal and country reports published by IKAM.
